LAMBENCE WILL BE BACK - FOR NOW WE ARE REBUILDING AND WILL RELAUNCH IN 2023

The quality of Sterling Silver we use

The Sterling Silver we have as part of our jewellery items is an alloy of 92.5% pure elemental silver and 7.5% that is made up of copper which adds both strength and a hypoallergenic effect so as to not irritate sensitive skin. What most customers are not aware of is that pure 100% Silver is too weak and soft to be used as everyday wearing jewellery and would end up being damaged and broken too easily.

The 925 stamp you see on our pieces (where there is enough space to add the stamp) means that the piece is 925 (92.5%) authentic and the quality is that of high grade sterling silver.

Most of our Sterling Silver pieces are sourced from Italy and made with the utmost care and craftsmanship.

From an aesthetic perspective Sterling Silver has a very bright and light / white shine to it and in many ways should form part of your staple fashion pieces that you wear to uplift and provide an edge to your outfits, a good bracelet and necklace set is a must.

Caring for your silver (a brief guide):

  • Use a sterling silver polish cloth to wipe and clean your jewellery and be careful not to use too much force on thinner more fragile pieces
  • Take your time and practice patience when polishing your jewellery and as such avoid the use of gimmicky liquid cleaners that promise quick cleaning unless sold and demonstrated to you by a jeweller. In addition clean often and don't let any dirt build up
  • Keep your sterling silver stored in a bag when you are not wearing it, this will ensure a much longer life span and avoid quick de-colouring
  • Take your jewellery off when you are cooking or showering. Acidic foods and chemicals can be harmful to the silver and gemstones.

We hope you enjoy the Sterling silver products we provide and take good care of them to ensure they last a lifetime.
